How long does my hair have to be in order to get waxed?

In order to be properly waxed, your hair has to be at LEAST 3/4 of an inch long. This is about 2 weeks worth of growth.

WHY SHOULD I EXFOLIATE?

Exfoliating on a regular basis will get rid of your topical dead skin to help prevent bacteria, sweat, and dirt from getting stuck underneath the skin’s surface. 
Exfoliating will also help stimulate blood circulation, as well as even your skin tone.

Exfoliating BEFORE your wax appointment will lessen pain and time during your waxing.
You should NOT exfoliate up to 3 days AFTER a waxing. 
After your 72 hours, continue to exfoliate at LEAST 3x a week.

WHAT CAN I DO TO MINIMIZE PAIN DURING MY APPOINTMENT?

CAN I GET WAXED WHILE PREGNANT?

Yes, waxing is pregnancy safe.

CAN I STILL GET BALD ON MY PERIOD?

Yes, I do all that you come with a fresh tampon. I definitely have some on hand if needed.
If you don’t wear a tampon— Please don’t feel pressured... just text me as soon as Mother Nature arrives & we will reschedule.

Exfoliate a day prior to your visit. Wear loose fitted clothing to your appointment for your comfort. Keep your appointments every 4-6 weeks. Schedule around your time of the month.

Soak in a warm bath BEFORE your appointment to open pores & soften hair. Do NOT get waxed if you’re sunburned.

At this moment in time, I do NOT accept walk ins. All appointments are taken online, you may visit BaldLikeCaillou.com/booking to book your next appointment.

How can I reschedule/cancel my appointment?

You may cancel or reschedule through your confirmation email.

If cancelling/ rescheduling less than 24hrs prior to your appointment, there is a $15 rescheduling/cancellation fee.

Can I get while being pregnant?

Yes, waxing is pregnancy safe. It is best practice that when you are pregnant, to come during your earlier months to get used to the waxing process.

Can I get waxed while on any medications?

As long as you haven't taken; RetinA, Renova, or Accutane within 14 days prior to your appointment you will be fine to wax. If you are currently using these medications, we will not be able to proceed with a wax appointment. Please book once you are cleared to wax, by your physician.

Are gift cards available for online purchase?

Gift cards are not currently available.

May I bring someone to my appointment?

Unless your individual is also being serviced, no extra people may come...children included!

Do you offer male waxing services?

At this time, we only offer waist and up male services. No manzilians.

What is a vajacial?

A vajacial is a facial for your Punani. Vajacials are fantastic for treating ingrown hairs, removing dead skin cells, smoothing bumps around bikini line, acne prevention, as well as assisting with hyperpigmentation...all to maintain healthy and hydrated skin in the vaginal area.

What is BaldLikeCaillou doing to follow COVID-19 precautions?

Coronavirus/COVID-19 Protocols:

Things to expect for each visit until further notice;

  • Please notify me BEFORE your appointment if you are feeling sick, running a temperature, or have been around anyone who is showing any signs of being sick.

  • Do NOT book if you will be traveling within 14 days prior to your appointment.

  • Please wear your personal mask into the building.

  • No additional guests!

  • Please not only rinse, but WASH your hands when instructed.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available.

  • Please notify upon your arrival BUT PLEASE remain in your car until instructed.

  • Unless you will be paying via cash, checkout will be contactless.

  • Your belongings will be placed in a designated area inside of our Cat Snatching' Studio. This area; as well as doorknobs, light switches, and faucet handles are disinfected between EACH client.

Additional time has been added to each appointment for disinfection & safety protocols before your arrival, during your visit, and after your exit.
